What You Need to Know
Mid back pain is less common than neck or lower back pain but can still be debilitating
Mid back pain can occur due to a variety of reasons, including muscle strain, poor posture, joint restrictions, or conditions like herniated discs or osteoarthritis. Sometimes, mid back pain can be caused by scoliosis. We often find that posture and poor ergonomics lead to joint restrictions in the mid back region. These cases typically respond great to chiropractic adjustments and therapeutic exercises that help improve extension through the thoracic spine.
